McPherson High School students injured in a rollover crash Tuesday were treated in the emergency department at Salina Regional Health Center and sent home, a McPherson County Sheriff’s Office spokesman said.

Driver Logan Hubenett, 18, and passengers Alexandra Stout, 18; Mensi Patel, 17; and Lauren Birzer, 17 — who was ejected — were transported to the hospital by ambulance after the crash on Coronado Heights Road, said Capt. Joe Hoffman of the McPherson County Sheriff’s Office. Another passenger, Chintan Patel, 18, was not transported after the crash, Hoffman said.

He said Hubenett lost control of the sport utility vehicle he was driving on the gravel surface of the road and the SUV rolled in the ditch.
