LINDSBORG — Once again, the showdown tennis dual between McPherson College’s men and Bethany College to determine the KCAC regular-season champion has been postponed.

Rain wasn’t the culprit this time, but wind. Sustained winds of nearly 30 mph., gusting to 40 mph., necessitated the postponement.

The schools will try again Tuesday, with the match to be played at 5 p.m. at the Ron Dahlsten Tennis Complex at Smoky Valley High School.

The women’s match has been cancelled. Bethany is low on players and it will go down as a 9-0 Bulldog forfeit victory. The Bulldogs thus finish KCAC play 8-0 and will be the No. 1 seed in the KCAC Postseason Tournament.
