Bulldogs swept by Tabor in softball

Tabor College’s softball team swept McPherson College in the Bulldogs’  conference finale on Tuesday.

Tabor won the first game 12-2, scoring four runs in the second and five in the third. Judith Salazar had two hits and two RBIs to lead the Bulldogs.

Tabor completed the sweep with a 10-5 victory, sparked by a five-run second inning. Kortney Jones and Ali Smith had two hits apiece, while Smith and Chelsea Conrad drove in two runs apiece.

Mac finishes KCAC play with an 11-11 record after going 4-18 last year. The Bulldogs are 25-23 overall and play two games against Central Christian College on Saturday.
