SEDGWICK — Sedgwick’s baseball team was simply too much for Canton-Galva on Friday, taking a pair of decisive victories.

It was all Cardinals in Game 1, 13-0. Sedgwick scored five runs in the second inning and six more in the third to end the game early.

Reed Wiens had two hits for C-G, while Nick Pearson and Marshall Reedy had the others. All four hits were singles.

Sedgwick was an 11-2 winner in Game 2. It was a close game until the fifth when the Cardinals exploded for six runs as Pearson had pitched well until then. He also had a double for the Eagles’ biggest hit. Five Eagles had one hit each.
