LINDSBORG — McPherson College’s baseball team clinched a spot in the KCAC Postseason Tournament with a 20-2 rout of arch-rival Bethany in Game 1 of Friday’s doubleheader.
With the playoff spot secured, Mac coach Bryan Moses played his reserves in Game 2, resulting in a 14-1 Bethany victory and a split of the doubleheader. The third game of the series is set for Sunday, though heavy rains today may force a postponement.
Mac is now 12-14 in the KCAC and 24-28 overall. It was just 7-19 in the KCAC last year and 20-35 overall.
