POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. — Central Christian College’s baseball team wrapped up regular-season play on Friday losing two games to College of the Ozarks, which won the four-game series 3-1.

Central won 14 games, losing 36. It will be hosting an NCCAA Regional Tournament May 11-13 at Light Capital Diamond.

• Ozarks 3, Central 1 — Zane Howard threw a four-hitter and fanned five, but it wasn’t good enough as the Tigers couldn’t get the big hit when they needed it.

The Tigers actually out-hit the Bobcats, 8-4, with Brian Marroquin, Jaime Romeu and Caleb Gorman coming up with two apiece for CCC.

• Ozarks 6, Central 3 — The Tigers led this one 3-2, but the Bobcats scored the game’s final four runs, three of those in the sixth.

Shomari Cann and Mario Rivera had three hits apiece as for the second game in a row the Tigers had more hits. Bryan Scott threw well in defeat, giving up just five hits.
