The C.A.R.S Club at McPherson College is having a pre-car-show car show. From 6 p.m. -9 p.m. on Main Street. Come down and see a beautiful collection cars and motorcycles and have a good time celebrating cars. And don’t miss the main event on Saturday May 6. Starting at 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. it is the 18thAnnual Car and Motorcycle Show presented by the college automotive restoration students or CARS of the McPherson college. The annual event is a final hurrah from the students in the auto restoration program. They plan their own huge car show that is unique to McPherson. Cars from across the country travel to participate.
C.A.R.S. Club, or College Automotive Restoration Students, is a student led club open to any McPherson student interested in antique and collector cars. The club gives students an opportunity to get together and share their passion for automobiles outside of the classroom. Club members are able to participate in numerous events throughout the year, including car shows, cruises, travel, old car movie nights, and insider trips to museums and private collections.
The culmination of the year is the student led C.A.R.S. Show in the Spring, where students plan their own large car show unlike anything else in the area, attracting participants from around the country.
