Four MHS netters qualify for state on regional's first day

BUHLER — McPherson High’s boys tennis team qualified singles players Andrew Snell and Jarrod Nowak for state during Thursday’s first day of the Class 4A regional, while the doubles team of Kaden Stewart and Nolan Schrader also has punched its ticket.

Snell and Nowak will be involved in semifinal singles action as they are the top two seeds.  Stewart and Schrader also are the No. 1 seed and cruised into the semis.

The team of Hadley Hageman and Patrick Munsey will not advance after losing a heart-breaker in a tiebreaker. The tournament wraps up today.
