Caden Avery, 9, died Friday May 5 after falling from a tractor at his home.
Caden was mowing the lawn with his father when the tractor struck an object and threw the boy from the tractor before being hit by the tractor. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
It happened southwest of Inman around 8:45 p.m. on Friday.

A horrific accident happened Saturday on a farm in rural Galva, resulting in the death of an eight-year-old boy who was visiting his grandparents over the holiday weekend.
Rylan Decker of Louisiana was tragically killed while riding on a tractor with his grandfather, when a piece of equipment broke off and flew into the tractor cab, hitting the boy and killing him instantly.
The accident occurred just before 1:00 Saturday afternoon near Dakota Rd, about seven miles south of Galva. No one else was hurt.
Rylan and his family were visiting from DeRidder, Lousiana, where funeral services will be held this Wednesday, November 30, at the Southern Magnolia Mennonite Church in DeRidder. If anyone would like to designate a memorial for Rylan and his family, they can be sent in care of the Moundridge Funeral Home and given to the Whispering Pines Mennonite School in DeRidder, where Rylan was attending this year as a second grader.
