McPherson College women’s soccer coach Doug Quint has brought in some reinforcements.

Quint on Monday released a 14-member recruiting class for the upcoming season, believed to be the largest in Mac history.

For immediate help, eight of the signees are transfers, while he also has added six freshmen to give the class nice balance.

Quint knew he needed to have a banner recruiting campaign as the Bulldogs graduated eight seniors from a much-improved team that went 10-6-1 last year and made the KCAC postseason tournament.

"Our staff really worked hard to find players all over the country that will suit our needs and help us continue our rise up the table," Quint said. "This talented class has the impact experience we needed and the youth we can develop over a four-year period."
