Two McPherson College men’s tennis players have been honored for combining their athletic talent with their academic ability.

Mac juniors Ahmed Lahlou and Hector Carrillo Perales have been named to the Daktronics-NAIA Men's Tennis Scholar-Athletes for the 2017 season, the association announced recently. They were among the 109 players chosen.

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.
