The 14th annual McPherson College Pat Noyes Experience was held this past weekend.

The “Experience” included an auction on Friday night, followed by a four-person scramble golf tournament on Saturday at Turkey Creek.

The “Experience” helped raise funds for the Pat Noyes Scholarship Fund, which is awarded each year to a McPherson College men’s basketball player.

Noyes played for Roger Trimmell when he was a student at McPherson College and later went on to become director of basketball operations at Oklahoma State. He died tragically in the Oklahoma State plane crash of 2001.

The winning team with a 53 included Stan Smith, Kurt Kinnamon, Cliff Hawkes and Steve Sell. Second, with a 58, was the team of Doug Gayer, Mark Gayer, Jack Rader and Glenn Snell.

The winning team in the First Flight, with a 61, was Matt Fuqua, Matt Berber, Tate Andrews and Brian Carlgren. Second, with a 64, was the team of Jarrod Hull, Collyn Wall, Dustin Schulz and Quinn Ruxlow.

There were 15 teams that took part.
