McPherson High senior defensive end Wyatt Seidl earned the Defensive MVP at the Emporia “bigs” football camp on Saturday.
Seidl, who will be a three-year starter for the Bullpups, is expected to be one of the top defensive ends in the state this fall.
The 6-3 and 220-pounder is a rare three-sport athlete in that he also plays for the basketball team as well as the baseball team.
MHS coach Jace Pavlovich said it was a nice honor for Seidl. He added that some of the Bullpup players are attending one-day camps to gain more exposure.
