“Pave the Future,” McPherson’s first in a series of community talks, was today at 12:00p
City officials met this afternoon with a large group of citizens to discuss the future of roadwork within the city of McPherson.
The meeting began with a presentation demonstrating the city’s plan over the next few years.
Jeff Woodward Public Works Director and Larry Wiens, Commissioner of streets and Utilities
explained the costs and strategies they are putting into place.
They then opened the floor for Questions from the residents. And the residents had plenty of questions prepared, while the city representatives were prepared to answer.
The city will hold several more meetings; tonight at 5:30p at the museum and will address the Northeast side of McPherson. There will be two meetings Tuesday at 12:00p and 5:30p.
