Mac picked 6th in KCAC volleyball poll

McPherson College’s volleyball team has been picked to finish in sixth place in the KCAC this season, according to the coaches’ poll released Thursday.

The Bulldogs, who set a school record for victories last season by going 21-12 in Jessica Cleveland’s first year as head coach, rounded out the top half of the standings. The Bulldogs were 13-9 in KCAC play.

Ottawa received seven first-place votes and totaled 117 points to take first. Tabor and Kansas Wesleyan rounded out the Top 3, with Tabor receiving two first-place votes and Kansas Wesleyan receiving three, with the Bluejays outlasting the Coyotes in points, 104-102.

Bethany College was picked eighth.
