Rubenstein new assistant golf coach at BC

LINDSBORG – Former Bethany College golf standout Oliver Rubenstein is the new assistant golf coach for the Swedes.

Rubenstein is a May BC graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Physical Health and Wellness with an emphasis in coaching. He was a four-year member of the Swedes’ golf program, with many accomplishments and honors.

Rubenstein made Bethany Dean's Honor Roll in 2014 and 2016. He also was the recipient of the KCAC Champion of Character award in 2015. He earned a spot on the KCAC Championship All-Tournament team in 2014, 2015 and 2016. Rubenstein was also the team captain in 2016 and 2017.

"I am happy to add Oliver Rubenstein as our men's and women's assistant coach," Bethany head coach Dalton Stevens said in a press release. "He brings a wealth of knowledge, overseas recruiting and knows what it takes to be a successful student-athlete at Bethany. He will be involved in all aspects of the programs day to day operations and I look forward to seeing home grow as a coach."
