HUTCHINSON — Elyria Christian School’s volleyball team opened its season Tuesday by splitting a pair of matches.
The Eagles were a 25-13, 25-20 winner over Wichita Home School as Christin Vetter had 7 kills and Brekken Anderson added 7 digs.
The Eagles took Central Christian to three sets. Central won the first set 25-21 before the Eagles evened it up with a 25-20 victory. The Cougars won the decider, 25-19. Bailey Unruh had 8 kills to lead Elyria.
