INMAN — There was no letdown for the Inman volleyball team, which is starting to make some noise in Class 2A.
The Teutons, coming off a 5-0 weekend in their own invitational, breezed to a pair of wins during a home triangular Tuesday.
The Teutons, now 7-0, defeated Centre (25-9, 25-12) and Canton-Galva (25-7, 25-14).
Canton-Galva and Centre played a terrific match, with the Eagles winning in three sets (25-21, 23-25, 26-24).
For Canton-Galva, it was the season opener.
“We have a lot to work on, but I was very impressed with our defense tonight,” C-G coach Kaitlyn Bressie said. “That gives us a solid foundation to build on and to improve in the coming days and weeks. Inman is a very good volleyball team. They have great athletes and you can tell they are well coached. They are going to be a tough team to beat this year.”
