Tiger women kickers defeated by Dordt

SIOUX CITY — Dordt College flooded the pitch with five first-half goals on Saturday to key a 6-0 rout of Central Christian College’s women’s soccer team.

The Tigers wound up their two-game road trip 0-2. Dordt led 3-0 before the game was 14 minutes old. Central goalie Goldie Bougher was under siege, though she did come up with 12 saves.

Dordt had a 18-2 advantage in shots on goal.

Central is now 1-2. It goes on the road again on Tuesday by playing at NCAA Division II school Oklahoma Baptist. Starting time is 5:30 p.m. in Shawnee, Okla.
