Swather spikers now 13-1

LARNED — Hesston High’s volleyball team is now 13-1 overall and 3-0 in Central Kansas League play after making quick work of Holcomb and Larned on Tuesday.

The Swathers swamped Holcomb (25-11, 25-15) and then dispatched with Larned in a CKL match (25-10, 25-18).

All-Stater Kailey Jo Ince were her usual dominating self with 24 kills in two matches. Alaina Dunlavy distributed 52 assists. The digs were spread out, with Dunlavy leading with 5 against Holcomb and Ince recorded 8 for team honors against Larned.

Mia Loganbill had a terrific night with her serving, dealing 9 aces.

The Swathers head to Pratt on Tuesday, with Lyons the third team in the triangular. They also play two days later at Garden Plain as it will be a busy week.
