It will be a special night Friday at McPherson High’s home football opener at McPherson Stadium.

MHS will be having a special Down Syndrome Awareness Night in honor of Ryan “Rhino” Ronsee, a key Bullpup contributor who is on the sidelines every game. He was also the subject of a short TV documentary after scoring a touchdown during the MHS Fall Preview and what he means to the team.

There will be a 50-50 raffle to support the USD 418 STriVE (Students Transitioning into Vocations Education) program.

The winner of the raffle receives 50 percent, with the other half going to STriVE. The winner will be announced just before the start of the fourth quarter.
