MOUNDRIDGE — The rust definitely showed for the Moundridge volleyball team on Thursday.

The Wildcats had been idle since Sept. 5 and it showed in a pair of losses to Douglass and Sedgwick.

Douglass was a 25-13, 25-16 winner, while Moundridge took Sedgwick to three sets. After the Cardinals won the first set 25-9, the Wildcats roared back to win 25-22. But Sedgwick dominated the deciding set 25-11.

Moundridge goes to Marion on Tuesday for a quad that also includes Inman and Bennington.
