OKLAHOMA CITY — Central Christian College’s Collin Duckworth finished in a tie for eighth place Tuesday in the NCCAA Regional Golf Tournament, which finished up after 54 holes of play.
Duckworth turned in scores of 74-74-76 for a 224 total.
Other CCC scores were Lowell Stephens (76-76-79-231), Tyler Swanson (85-79-78-242), Trehern McGill (83-86-77-246) and Matt Rettinger (84-87-90-261).
First-day leader McMurry University maintained its advantage to win the team title with a 6-stroke victory over Central Baptist, which had the medalist in Colton Ryan as he had scores of 68-71-71.
Central’s women took fourth as a team, with Kari Kirl leading the way with 88-89-177, good for 15th. She was one place ahead of MaiLeAna Bruce, who had 91-89-180.
Other Tiger scores were Sara Gordzelik (95-98-193), Vanessa Warner (98-108-206) and Summer Bruce (105-103-208).
Southwestern Christian College won the title, with Colorado Christian’s Katrina Mendez the medalist with 73-72-145. She was one shot better than Southwestern Christian’s Andi McGill, who had rounds of 76-70-146.
