MMS harriers have three in Top 10

In actuality, the McPherson Middle School cross country teams got the tougher part of the draw on Thursday in the McPherson Invitational at Rolling Acres.

The middle school races were contested at the height of the heat and wind, which made conditions difficult.

The highlight performers for the Bullpups were Tito Mendez taking second in the seventh-grade boys race  and Amber Smith placing fourth for the seventh-grade girls. Seth Madron had a Top 10 in the eighth-grade boys by taking ninth and Evie Elder had the top finish for the eighth-grade girls by taking 12th.
