SALINA — McPherson College’s volleyball team couldn’t duplicate its upset of Tabor when it lost on Friday to another KCAC titan, Kansas Wesleyan, in a four-setter.

The Bulldogs continued to ride the wave of momentum of Wednesday’s rare victory over Tabor with a 25-22 first-set win, but the rest of the night belonged to the Coyotes as they captured 25-17, 25-16, 26-24 victories to improve to 4-1 in the KCAC.

Mac fell to 3-3 in the conference, 7-5 overall, and has no rest as it goes to Friends today. The Falcons are another of the conference’s elite as this week has been a gauntlet for Mac.

It as a monster night for Mac’s Lexi Kite, who had 20 kills and 14 digs as she lived up to her All-KCAC recognition.

Morgan Little led in assists with 23 and Jamie Siess had 28 digs.
