Central spikers blank Union College

LINCOLN, Neb. — Central Christian College’s volleyball team was not intimidated by a packed house on hand Saturday to support Union College.

The Tigers put the roaring crowd out of their mind for a 3-0 victory, winning 25-18, 25-19, 25-19.

The victory snapped a five-match losing streak for the Tigers, now 4-10 on the year.

Hannah Fredrickson did a great job of setting up the offense with 26 assists. Kacie Platt, Rebekah Glessner and Morgan Cook all had 8 kills, while Desiree Padilla was tops in assists with 17, while Platt and Glessner added 12.

Central is off until Saturday when returns to Sooner Athletic Conference play by going on the road to take on Texas Wesleyan in Fort Worth. CCC is 1-6 in the SAC.
