McPherson College’s Rinaldo Gagiano and Bethany College’s Jau’Mari Clark earned two of the three KCAC weekly football honors announced Monday afternoon.

Gagiano was tabbed Special Teams Player of the Week after his blocked punt and recovery for a touchdown sent the Bulldogs on their way to a rousing 48-14 victory over Bethel College.

Clark, a linebacker, did yeoman work in the Swedes’ 31-20 win over Ottawa. He had 13 solo tackles and assisted on 4 others. He is averaging 10.8 tackles a game to rank in the Top 10 in the country.

Sterling’s Darryl Terrell was named Offensive Player of the Week. Moved over from defensive back, the Warriors found themselves a potential star as he had 10 catches for 250 yards and two touchdowns as the Warriors edged Friends, 19-18
