Bulldog spikers now 7-3 in KCAC

McPherson College’s volleyball team made it four conference wins in a row and three straight shutouts here Wednesday with a lightning-quick 3-0 blanking of Southwestern.

The Bulldogs are now 7-3 in the KCAC and 11-5 overall as they head to Sterling on Friday in an attempt to make it five in a row. Mac, which has won six of its last eight KCAC matches, defeated Sterling in four sets earlier in the season.

The Bulldogs owned this one from start to finish for 25-19, 25-12, 25-18 decisions.

Lexi Kite was the kills leader with 11, Kaitlyn Heinis and Morgan Little supplied 18 and 16 assists, respectively, and Jamie Siess led in digs with 14. Heinis also delivered 4 aces and Mady Woog led in blocks with 3.
