LINDSBORG — Bethany College’s volleyball team sent shockwaves throughout the KCAC on Wednesday by stunning Ottawa in five sets at Hahn Gym.
Ottawa had a 2-1 lead before the Swedes came back for 25-22, 15-9 victories in the final two sets. Ottawa was ranked earlier in the season and is still receiving votes in the national poll.
Kim Stringer led the Swedes in kills with 18, Caitlin Boden came up with 8 blocks and Conner Stolley accumulated 18 digs.
Bethany, now 4-6 in the KCAC and 5-13 overall, hosts Kansas Wesleyan on Friday.
