ELYRIA — Elyria Christian School’s volleyball team hosted a tourney for the teams that were in the bottom four of the Wheat State League standings during the regular season on Saturday.
Elyria went a sparkling 3-0 on the day.
The Eagles defeated Centre 25-14, 25-18 as Melea Redenbaugh had 5 kills and Brekken Anderson furnished 5 digs.
Against Wakefield, the Eagles won in straight sets, 25-18, 25-19. Christin Vetter had 9 kills and Kourtney Brumley added 7.
Elyria polished off Peabody 25-16, 25-2 as Bailey Unruh amazingly served 18 points in a row, which included a half-dozen aces.
