BETHANY, Okla. — Central Christian College’s volleyball team, playing its ninth straight match on the road, was running on fumes on Saturday.

The weary Tigers only put up a creditable resistance in one set as it lost 3-0 to Southwestern Christian on Saturday.

The Eagles won 25-9, 25-18, 25-11. Central is now 1-12 in the SAC and 5-17 overall.

Kacie Platt had 6 kills to lead the Tigers. Hannah Fredrickson contributed 20 assists, while Desiree Padilla and Kraus had 13 and 11 digs, respectively.

That’s it for road matches for Central as thankfully it finally plays at home on Wednesday against Bacone College. It’s the first of five straight matches at Alexander Arena to close out the season. They have not played at home the entire month of October.
