SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. — John Brown University overwhelmed both Central Christian College soccer teams on Saturday, taking the two matches by identical 8-0 scores.

In both games, John Brown University scored four goals in each half.

“Welp...OK then. Sure, they are better, I agree,” Central men’s coach Aaron Hoxie said. “Yes, we didn't play well, I agree. This is a terrible combination and they kicked it into the thing more times than we kicked it into the thing and that's that. There's no magical potion, genius tactic or sugar flowers to make this stink smell better...so, take it like a man and get better. Simple."

The Tiger men are now 2-4-1 in the Sooner Athletic Conference, but still a sparkling 9-5-1 overall.

The Central women are 1-5 in the SAC and 4-10 overall. Tiger coach Scott Fogarty did not comment after the game.

Both Central teams are home on Tuesday against University of Science and Arts, with the women’s game at 5:00 and the men play at 7:30.
