Little River put the wrap on a 7-2 regular season on Thursday with a 46-0 rout of St. John.

As a district runner-up, Little River will be on the road on Friday for the first round of the 8-Man Division I playoffs. It will play South Central at Coldwater, which is 8-1.

Little River scored 28 points in the first quarter and led 40-0 at the half.

Graham Stephens ran for three touchdowns, Levi Swenson had two and Jordan Moffett had one. Peyton Harvey had a pick-6 covering 33 yards.

Hunter Thomas led the Redskins with 57 yards rushing as the ball was spread around since the issue was never in doubt. Swenson was 4 of 5 for 36 passing yards.

• Hesston 45, Marion 24 – Just like last year, the Swathers will take a 6-3 record into postseason play and with the win earned a first-round home game on Tuesday.

The Swathers will host Trinity Catholic of Hutchinson.

Game information is not available at current time.

• Ellinwood 52, Canton-Galva 26 — Ellinwood denied Canton-Galva a winning season as it started and finished strong to leave C-G with a final 4-5 record.

Ellinwood led 32-14 at the half, but C-G charged within 32-26 after three quarters.

But three scores in the fourth quarter by Ellinwood widened the lead.

Brayden Minson turned in a solid game at quarterback for Canton-Galva by throwing for three TD passes, two to Dylan Wood and one to Kinser Colgin. Wood also had a rushing touchdown.

Canton-Galva had no answer for Ellinwood’s Drew Blake, who ran wild with 325 yards on 41 carries and scored eight touchdowns.

Wood had 68 yards rushing for the Eagles. Brandon Huff had 10 1/2 tackles, with Wood next with 9.

The Eagles had only three seniors, so the future looks bright.

• Sedgwick 66, Inman 0 — Sedgwick showed why it was the district champion.

Dominating from start to finish, the Cardinals breezed to the win.

Inman finished its season with an 0-9 record.

• Note — Area teams Moundridge and Smoky Valley play tonight.
