Fearless Forecaster is oh so close to his coveted 80 percent goal.

Our picker was 18-3 last week and is now 158-41—a scintilla shy of the magic mark at nearly 79.5.

Fearless missed two games in the Big 12, Iowa State knocking off No. 4 TCU and he went with an upset special of West Virginia to topple Oklahoma State, which fell flat.

In the area, Fearless picked Canton-Galva to defeat Ellinwood, but a bad fourth quarter did in C-G.

McPherson 28, Buhler 21 — The final result comes down to this — can the Bullpups contain Buhler All-Stater Dalton Brown and can they run the ball on offense?

TCU 34, Texas 31 — TCU’s national championship hopes took a hit last week. They are in a must-win situation.
