Central spikers fall in finale

The volleyball season came to an end here Saturday for Central Christian College, which closed the first year of coach Jeremy Manning with a 3-0 loss to Oklahoma City.

The Stars are a powerhouse with a 15-1 Sooner Athletic Conference record and 20-6 mark overall. They rolled to a 25-17, 25-15, 25-14 win to drop CCC to 2-14 in its first year in the SAC and 6-21 overall.

Central employed only eight players. Rebekah Glessner led in kills with 5, Hannah Fredrickson had 14 assists and Kasi Kraus chipped in with 11 digs.

Kraus, Fredrickson, Valerie Hess, Sarah Pots and Makalyn Tuttle all played their final match of their Central careers.
