McPherson College’s men’s soccer team will host Tabor tonight at McPherson Stadium, with the winner advancing to the KCAC Postseason Tournament championship game.
The action begins at 7 p.m.
The teams met here on Sept. 30 during the regular season with the Bulldogs taking a 3-1 victory.
The Bulldogs, the tournament’s No. 2 seed, are riding a six-game winning streak. They are 11-6 on the year. They had no trouble in the first round with a 5-1 victory over York College.
Tabor is 8-8-1 and the No. 6 seed. The Bluejays upset No. 3 Ottawa 1-0 in overtime in their quarterfinal game.
Oklahoma Wesleyan (17-1-1) and Kansas Wesleyan (10-9) meet in Bartlesville, Okla. in the other semifinal tonight. OKW is ranked No. 2 in the country and has lost only one game in three years in the KCAC, that coming in last year’s tourney semifinals to McPherson College.
The championship game is Friday at the home of the highest seed.
