Mac's Kite makes KCAC volleyball 1st team

WICHITA — McPherson College’s double-double machine Lexi Kite was named to the All-KCAC volleyball first team for a second straight year on Wednesday and was joined by Bethany’s Kimberly Stringer and Azucena Duarte.

Tabor's Amy Horner was named Player of the Year and Ottawa's Adrianna Skipper earned Setter of the Year for the second straight year. Andrea Novakovic of Oklahoma Wesleyan was named Libero of the Year and her teammate Kenadee Valdez was named Freshman of the Year.

Ottawa’s Melissa Blessington was named Coach of the Year for the third consecutive year.  Ottawa’s Tom Sorensen was named Assistant Coach of the Year for the second straight season. 

Mac’s Jamie Siess was named to the second team. The Bulldogs’ Riley Bradbury and Devrie Sombers were chosen honorable mention.
