Central cagers in action tonight

Win or lose, tonight’s basketball games for Central Christian College’s Tigers won’t count.

The Tiger men will be in Hays to take on Fort Hays State. Tip time at Gross Memorial Coliseum is 7 p.m. Because Fort Hays is NCAA Division II, the games do not count on Central’s record.

The Fort Hays State Tigers, of course, feature McPherson High grads Kyler Kinnamon and Payton Stephens. Kinnamon is Fort Hays’ starting point guard and Stephens is a top reserve.

The Central Christian College Tigers are 3-1 on the season.

The CCC women are on the road to Adams State in Colorado. Game time is 6 p.m. McPherson time. Adams State also is an NCAA Division II school, so this is an exhibition game.

Central is 0-4 on the season.
