McPherson College and Bethany College will hook up in Hahn Gym on Tuesday to renew their basketball rivalry.

The women’s game tips off the action at 6 p.m., with the men to follow.

In the women’s game, both the Bulldogs and Swedes are 1-1 in KCAC play. Mac opened conference play with a win over Oklahoma Wesleyan before losing on the road to Tabor.

Bethany also was successful at home in its conference opener against Bethel, but then lost on the road to Kansas Wesleyan.

The Mac women are 5-0 at home this season, but looking for their first road win. Bethany is level overall on the season at 4-4.

In the men’s game, somebody is going to earn that first KCAC win as the Bulldogs and Swedes are both 0-2. Mac lost to Oklahoma Wesleyan and Tabor last week, while Bethany was defeated by Bethel and Kansas Wesleyan.

The Mac men are 1-5 so far, while Bethany is 3-6.

After Tuesday, the Mac men are home on Saturday to play Baker in a non-conference game with a 4 p.m. start. The women won’t play again until Nov. 29 when they host Southwestern.
