NACODOCHES, Texas — NCAA Division I school Stephen F. Austin predictably raced past Central Christian College’s women’s basketball team 105-32 in an exhibition game for the Tigers on Tuesday.

The Tigers were held to single digits in three of the four quarters.

Holly Golden scored 14 points to account for nearly half of Central’s offense.

Because it’s an exhibition, the loss doesn’t count on the Tigers’ 1-11 record. Central is now off until the new year when it hosts Texas Wesleyan on Jan. 4 in a Sooner Athletic Conference clash.

Central (32) — Golden 14, Mefford 6, Cooke 4, Yannello 4, Forsberg 2, Hearne 2.

Stephen F. Austin (105) — Jackson 15, Harris 11, Parker 11, Hayes 10, Harvey 5, Banfield 14, Mayfield 10, I. Johnson 7, A. Johnson 7, Brunneberg 6, Fisker 6, Burns 3.
