Central Christian College’s basketball teams head to Oklahoma City on Tuesday to take on a pair of ranked teams in Sooner Athletic Conference action.

The Central women have a massive challenge on their hands as they tangle with the nation’s No. 8-ranked team and SAC leader. Oklahoma City University is 7-0 in the conference and 14-2 overall while riding an eight-game winning streak. The Stars are a game up on University of Science and Arts. Tip time is 6 p.m.

Central is 0-7 in the conference, 1-14 overall and has lost its last eight games.

In the 8 p.m. men’s game, the Tigers go up against an Oklahoma City team that is ranked No. 14 in the most recent poll. The Stars are 5-3 in the SAC, a game back of Wayland Baptist. There are six teams with three losses each, two with 5-3 records and four with 4-3 records. OCU is 11-4 overall.

Central is 2-5 in the SAC, but knocked off Southwestern Christian in its most recent game. The Tigers are 8-6 overall and have played everybody close.

This is a busy week for Central. It returns home on Thursday to take on Panhandle State, then Wayland Baptist comes to town on Saturday as this is one of those weeks where the Tiger teams play three games.
