Central Christian College's men were halfway home to another upset of a ranked basketball team on Saturday.

The Tigers had No. 11 Wayland Baptist on the ropes for the first half, leading 37-30 at the break.

But the Pioneers roared back with a dominating second half for a 78-70 victory at Alexander Arena.

The loss dropped the Tigers to 3-7 in the Sooner Athletic Conference, 9-8 overall. They have played everybody tough and this was no exception.

Jubril Osagie led Central with 18 points, while TJ Williams came off the bench for 14 and Paul Ard II chipped in with 11. Central had no answer for Wayland Baptist's Samuel Kalwanyi, who had 22 points and 11 rebounds.
