It was status quo for the McPherson High and Elyria Christian School basketball teams.

Both McPherson High teams are No. 2 in Class 4A Division I, according to the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association rankings. The Bullpup teams both trail Miege.

The Bonner Springs boys have moved up to No. 3, followed by Wamego and Ottawa. The second five includes Augusta, Labette County, Andover Central, Kansas City Piper and Basehor-Linwood.

Piper’s girls trail Miege and McPherson, with Labette County and Circle rounding out the upper division. The rest of the order includes Hays, Andover Central, Abilene, Kansas City Sumner and Augusta.

Elyria Christian School’s boys, still undefeated after winning the Centre Classic, stand alone at the top of Class 1A Division II.

Hesston’s boys dropped to No. 8 this week in Class 3A and the Swather girls are no longer ranked.

Little River’s girls entered the Class 1A Division I poll at No. 10.
