CCC men rout Union College

It was playing time for everybody on Tuesday at Alexander Arena as Central Christian College’s men crushed overmatched Union College 108-31 as they took a night off from Sooner Athletic Conference play.

All but one player for Central scored and it was mostly time for the reserves after the Tigers led 55-12 at the half.

Central blazed for 47 of 78 from the field, 10 of 22 from 3-point. Paul Ard II and reserve TJ Williams shared scoring honors with 18 points apiece, and subs Antonio Daniels and Steve Kuminga scored 14 apiece.

The Tigers, now 10-8 on the season, are on the road the rest of the week, playing Thursday at John Brown and Saturday at Bacone.

• ORAL ROBERTS WOMEN 118, CENTRAL 47 — The Tigers lost an exhibition game to NCAA Division I Oral Roberts at Tulsa, which amazingly outscored Central 43-5 in the first quarter and led 58-15 at the half.

Holley Golden led Central with 18 points and Ridglea Hearne furnished 10.

The Tigers play Thursday at John Brown.
