SALINA — James Gesaman put together a terrific series on Thursday to spark the McPherson High JV boys bowling team to third place in a five-team event.
The Bullpups finished behind Sacred Heart and Salina South, while finishing ahead of Augusta and Salina Central.
Gesaman was red-hot with a 622, which included a 265 game.
Other scores were Blake Snyder (473), Wyatt Eisenbarth (523), Clayton Everhart (391), Devin Hartley (516) and Jared Armstrong (467).
“The boys had fun, missed a lot spares,” MHS coach Herb Halinski said. “They had a team score of 2,200. It was a good learning experience for them and exposed to them the areas they need to improve on.”
