The Lindsborg 70th annual community-wide Pancake Feed sponsored by Lindsborg Kiwanis Club will be Saturday, February 17, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., in Bethany Lutheran Church education hall lower level, 320 North Main Street.
All net proceeds will go to support youth, civic, and charitable projects supported by Kiwanis Club, according to Kiwanis vice-president Roger Verdon.
Again this year there will be no ticket sales, and admission will be by freewill donations at the door.
“We hope to have a good turnout, regardless of weather, for this annual community meal and fellowship event. Without commitments of advance ticket sales, we hope everyone will put this event on their calendars and will attend,” Kiwanis project co-chair Bobby Peterson stated.
The Lindsborg Kiwanis Club helps support Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, High School After-Prom, High School wrestling, Bethany College scholarships, Big Brothers, Karpov Chess School, Key Leader youth camp, Children’s Center, Soderstrom School books, Lindsborg Community Library, Lindsborg Arts Council, McKids, McPherson County Family Life Center, Parents as Teachers, Bloodmobile, Sprout House childrens learning center, Human & spiritual projects, Kiwanis Foundation, Kansas Kiwanis Foundation projects, 4-H Camp at Rock Springs in Junction City including youth scholarships, the worldwide Eliminate maternal-neonatal tetanus inoculations, and other youth, civic, and charitable charities.
