The economic success of a city is often dependent in part on its employee base and business owners. On Monday, February 12, at 6:00, the McPherson Public Library will be hosting Success Stories, a discussion panel highlighting the important role that women play in the industries and businesses of McPherson.
The panel, moderated by Shannon Brake, Marketing and Communications Manager for the library, will feature the following women: Lanae Powell, Realtor for Ellene McKean and Associates; Ann Engel, Executive Director of McPherson Main Street; Anne Kirchner, Community Information Coordinator, McPherson Convention & Visitors Bureau; and Jennifer Bonham, Peoples State Bank and Trust.
Throughout the session, panelists will discuss their path to success, their ability to overcome challenges, advice in achieving balance, and their insights to the resources available to anyone wanting to succeed in their career.
This is a unique opportunity for anyone, both women and men, wanting an insider’s view on the unique stories, skills and achievements that have led to success in business and in the workplace. There will be time allowed for Q & A. The program is free and registration is not required.
