The Central Christian College men’s basketball team has another opportunity to play giant-killer.

The Tigers are home on Tuesday at Alexander Arena to take on No. 15 Oklahoma City, which has a half-game lead in the Sooner Athletic Conference.

OCU is 11-5 in conference play, just ahead of 10-5 teams Southwestern Assemblies of God and Texas Wesleyan and a game up on No. 7-ranked University of Science and Arts.

Central is 6-10 in conference play, but has noteworthy upsets of this Oklahoma City team and University of Science and Arts.

The Tigers are 13-11 overall and coming off a 103-77 humbling of Panhandle State in one of their best performances of the year.

The Central women are running out of season to get that first SAC win as they are 0-16, 1-23 overall.

Oklahoma City is ranked No. 4 in the country, yet tied for second in the SAC behind No. 6 Wayland Baptist.

The women’s game starts at 6:00, with the men to follow.
