Update on the South Front Street Project

The curb repair, patching and overlay is all complete on the South Front Street Project.  The Street Department did an excellent job.  The original cost estimate was $207,462.  The final cost was:  Street labor and equipment $98,217.09, material $81,778.66, for a total cost of $179,995.75, and a total savings of $27,466.25.

Update on the Avenue "A"/Centennial Drive 10' Sidewalk

This past week the lighting system was completed as well as 85% of the seeding. General clean up also continued. Two pieces of sidewalk were replaced, and railing over the creek crossing was installed.  The striping and signing is scheduled to be completed this week.

Update on Barnstormers-Premier Subdivisions Project

Work continues with the cleaning of concrete pavement and the sealing of pavement.  They have also been fine grading for sidewalk installation. 

Update on the Elm Street Drainage Improvements

Progress on this project was slowed due to rain.  The Contractor continues to work on pavement patching on Marlin and installing pipe north on Elm street.
