Blosser named 4-1A Offensive Player of the Year; 4 Bullpups on 1st team

McPherson High’s Dylan Blosser was named the Offensive Player of the Year in Class 4-1A, as All-State soccer honors were announced on Monday.

Blosser was a high-scoring forward for the Bullpups, who wound up taking third place in the 4-1A State Tournament.

The Bullpups were well represented on the All-State team. In addition to Blosser being named as a first-team forward, Ryan Horton was named first team as a midfielder, while the Bullpups placed two players on the All-State defensive first team, Adam Bowers and Peter Horton.

Brandon Ramirez of state champion Bishop Miege was named the Defensive Player of the Year. Rose Hill's Geoffrey Stitcher was the Goalie of the Year and Joe Huppe, whose Miege team outlasted MHS 1-0 in the state semifinals, was the Coach of the Year.
